Description
An attractive registered air mail cover sent by the Mexico Legation in El Salvador to Mexico City, Mexico. Franked with El Salvador Scott #498, the 5 centavo Conspiracy of 1811 stamp from 1924, #526, the overprinted 20 centavo Balsam Tree stamp from 1932 and #C12, the 20 centavo Mail Plane air mail stamp from 1930. All are tied to the cover by an undated pictorial Correo Aereo El Salvador, C.A. hand stamp. There is a Correo Aereo Registrados del Exterior, San Salvador, El Salvador, C.A. postmark dated November 8, 1932. On the reverse is a violet hand stamp for the Legacion de Mexico, El Salvador, C.A., a violet Correspondencias Registradas, Depto. Servicio Aereo, Mexico, D.F. marking dated November 10, 1932 and a redCorrespondencias Registradas, Sucursal "A", Mexico, D.F. dated November 10, 1932. This cover measures 162mm x 92mm.
