This part of a life story of Cinderilla M. Taylor from Guernsey, Iowa.
She was born sometime in the late 1800's. I don't have any documentation of her birth, but there is a

with entries to Rilla with dates from 1886 to 1895. There are also

1 of Rilla as a young child with her sister Lottie and another of her and her sister Eva.
In 1902, Rilla was appointed Postmaster in Guernsey, Iowa.
The
Postmaster
Certificate
was issued by the then Postmaster General, under  President Theodore Roosevelt, Henry C. Payne. It was signed by the Acting Postmaster General, R.J. Wynne. In 1910 Cinderilla married William J. McBroom from Bearcreek, MO. Included herein is the beautiful

is included addressed to Rilla McBroom in Millington, IL dated 1939.  At some point in the years following their marriage, William and Cinderilla moved to Dekalb, IL, where had at least one child, Inez Taylor. If you are interested, I have another listing documenting Inez's High School years at Dekalb Township High School in Illinois.
All of this documentation is in good to very good condition.  The Postmaster Certificate has been rolled up for many years, but lettering is still very sharp and clear.
