    Description

    For your consideration is a vintage silver plate butter dish with glass insert.  There is no silversmith's mark on the bottom.  With lid on, it measures 3-1/2" high.  The bottom measures 4-3/4" x 8".  The glass insert measures 2-3/4" wide x 6" long.  It is great for 1 cube of butter.  It came out of an estate silver collection.  It is in very good, clean condition.  No dents or scratches notices.  Glass insert shows no cracks or chips.
