Vintage Silver plated Ornate design Swivel Covered Top Butter Compote.
PB&P Company is the maker. Porter Britannica & Company is known for making Silver plated, Pewter and metal design house Ware.
Height 5 3/4 inches with lid close
Width 9 3/4 inches from handle to handle.
Normal wear. Needs polishing, leans slightly to the left. See pictures before making decisions to buy. Heavy in weight, solid.  Latches on side to secure the top from opening.
The butter compote has the "G" on the front of the lid.
On the bottom, there is the number 325
And 110. I'm not sure what the meaning is, so if you are up to researching, I have provided a pictures of the Compote to assist in searching.
